Family Volunteering

Volunteer in Africa on one of our amazing programmes!

Bring the kids and join one of our exciting and rewarding family volunteer programmes. Work with wildlife, experience daily life in a game park or get involved in community projects - we have projects suitable for children of all ages and families of all sizes!

If you’re looking for something different to do on your family holiday this year, we suggest you consider one of our family wildlife conservation or community projects.

There is a growing demand for volunteer projects which can cater for families who want to volunteer together. Volunteering with your children enables them to learn first hand about how other people live, teaches them about responsible travel from a young age, and is a shared experience which brings families closer together.

If you are planning a career break and don’t want to leave your children behind, or you want your children to share your amazing volunteer experience, learn about other cultures and explore developing countries, family volunteering should be top of your list!

We have put together a few options of wildlife and animal programmes which are suitable for all ages and individual interests. Each programme has a learning element for your children, which will enable them to question, challenge, grow and develop, as well as get very dirty and tired!

If you would like to volunteer abroad with your family and combine your trip with a safari holiday, then we can help put a package together which will give you the experience of a lifetime!

Read our blog post about why volunteering with your family is definitely something we recommend!
