Family Volunteering

Volunteer in Africa on one of our amazing programmes!

Bring the kids as you join one of our family volunteer programmes. Work with wildlife, experience daily life in a game park and get involved in community projects - we have projects suitable for children of all ages and families of all sizes!

If you’re looking for something different to do on your family holiday this year, we would suggest you consider one of our family wildlife conservation or community projects.

We know there is a growing demand for volunteer projects which can cater for families who wish to volunteer together. We think this demand is excellent! Volunteering with your children enables them to learn first hand about how other people live, teaches them about responsible travel from a young age and we believe volunteering is a shared experience which brings families together.

If you are planning a career break and don’t want to leave your children behind, or you want your children to share your amazing volunteer experience, learn about other cultures and explore developing countries, family volunteering should be top of your list!

We've noticed that there are very few wildlife and conservation projects available which cater for families, so we have put together a few options of programmes which are suitable for kids of all ages and interests. Each programme has a learning element for your children which will enable them to question, challenge, grow and develop, as well as get very dirty and tired!

If you would like to volunteer abroad with your family and combine your trip with a safari holiday, then we can help put a package together which will give you the experience of a lifetime!

Special Offer! Save 5% on any of our family volunteer projects if you book before 1st July 2017. Have a look at the projects below for more details and take 5% off per person!

Karin T Switzerland I chose this project because there was not a lot of volunteers taken and it looked more personal. When I got there, I knew had I made the right decision! James G UK We chose this programme because it allowed us to bring our four children aged 8-12, enabling us to volunteer as a family.
